Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena signed the Condolence Book expressing deep condolence over the passing away of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI at the Embassy of the Holy See (Vatican Apostolic Nunciature) in Colombo today.

He was engaged in a brief conversation with Vatican Apostolic Ambassador Rt. Rev. Brian Udaigwe after signing the Book.
