It is essential to maintain good mental health throughout life, from birth to death.
World Mental Health Day 2024 highlights the importance of the physical environment in the workplace, focusing on areas such as stress management, empowerment, and social adaptation. This year’s theme, Mental Health at Work, underscores these crucial aspects.
It is also important to understand the co-relationship between mental health and the workplace. Even the healthiest employees can experience physical and mental stress in a poor work environment.
When employees are actively engaged in maintaining their mental well-being, it leads to reduced stress, lower absenteeism, and increased commitment to their work. I believe that a good society can be built by ensuring mental health freedom for all, from children to adults.
