A Japanese Language Training Institute to be established in Seethawaka.

The Shimo Planning Corporation Limited, a leading Japanese company plans to establish a Japanese language training center in Sithawaka area to facilitate language learners in the country and to encourage them to seek employment opportunities in Japan.

This was stated by Shimotori Hiroyuki, Representative Director of Shimo Planning Corporation Limited who called on Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena at the Prime Minister’s Office in Colombo on 2020.11.02.

The Prime Minister and the Deputy Director of Shimo discussed regarding the establishment of a Japanese language training center in Sithawaka area to facilitate language learners in the country and to encourage them to seek employment opportunities in Japan.

This would be an ideal opportunity for those who are interested getting qualified to work in Japan. Especially, since the Japanese language education is provided free of charge, even the people with financial difficulties can obtain an excellent exposure to Japanese language education, Mr Hiroyuki said.

Meanwhile, it was revealed that Shimo Planning Corporation Limited hopes to start a new project in Mirissa area to recycle fish bones, skin and other leftovers that are not consumed in Sri Lanka and import them as animal feed to Japan.

Secretary to the Prime Minister Mr. Anura Dissanayake, and Mr. Inohara Chamila, Sri Lankan representative of SHIMO also participated in this event.
