Mr.Polozkov Vladimir Deputy Chairman of the Board of Russian Association for international cooperation called on Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena at the Prime Minister’s Office in Parliament today (10) to discuss about potential large scale investment opportunities in Sri Lanka.

The Prime Minister welcomed the delegation commenting on the long standing friendship and diplomatic relations enjoyed by the two countries.

They discussed about possible investments in several fields including industries, ports and shipping. Mr. Ryzhkov Petr Chairman of the Board of directors of a leading development firm in Moscow, Minister Ramesh Pathirana, Mrs. Janitha Liyanage Sri Lankan Ambassador in Moscow and Mr. Anura Dissanayake Secretary to the Prime Minister were also present at the occasion.
