The sermon on the Binara Poya day was delivered by Ven. Prof. Iththademaliye Indrasara Thera, former Vice Chancellor of the Buddhist and Pali Universit of Sri Lanka, and Deputy Chief Sangha Nayaka of Southern Sri Lanka.
