On the occasion of World Mental Health Day on 10.10.2024, Sunil Keerthi Nanayakkara who Operations Director of Sri Lanka Mental Health Clients’ Action Organization (CAN MH Lanka) presented the butterfly logo to the Prime Minister.
The Sri Lankan Mental Health Clients Activist Organization that the established in 2012, advocates for mental health and educates people on how to deal with mental disorders that affect them.
Since 2013, 10 October has been designated as World Mental Health Day by the World Health Organization (WHO), which aims to raise awareness of mental health worldwidemobilize and efforts to support those experiencing mental health problems.This year the theme is " mental health at work".
