School Term to Resume as Normal from 2026 - Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya stated that steps have been taken to conduct examinations and resume the school term as normal from the beginning of 2026.

The Prime Minister made this statement while responding to a question raised in Parliament on January 8.
