The donation of Subasinghe Walawwa and the land in Anuradhapura for future development activities of Thuparamaya to the Buddhasasana Fund, by offering a Pooja deed to Most Venerable Pallegama Hemarathana Thera, chief Incumbent of Atamasthana and Chief Sanghanayaka of Nuwarakalaviya, was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Buddhasasana Fund, on 11.07.2024, at Maha Viharaya, Anuradhapura.
A group including Maha Sangha, State Minister Shehan Semasinghe, MPs S.M. Chandrasena, Yadamini Gunawardena, Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration Pradeep Yasaratne, and Anuradhapura District Secretary Janaka Jayasundara participated in this event.
