He is also currently the Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils & Local Government, a Member of Parliament, and Leader of the MEP which is in alliance with SLPP.

Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena was the Chief Guest at the Convocation of the British College of Applied Studies (BCAS Campus) held at the BMICH today (May 13).

The Prime Minister presented awards to students from BCAS Campuses in Colombo, Kandy, Jaffna and Kalmunai.

BCAS Chairman Rajendra Theagaraja, Chairman of the Board of Governors and CEO Teresh Amaratunga were also present on this occasion.
