Ambassador of Türkiye Strengthens Diplomatic Ties with Sri Lanka in Courtesy Call on Prime Minister.

25th of October, the Ambassador of Türkiye to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Semih Lütfü Turgut, paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya at the Prime Minister’s Office. Dr. Amarasuriya conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the Ambassador Turgut condolences about the recent terrorist attack in the Türkiye. During the discussion, Prime Minister Amarasuriya reaffirmed Sri Lanka’s support and highlighted the value of the longstanding partnership between the two nations.

Ms. Merve Gozde Otlu, First Secretary and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Turkish Embassy, Mr. Mahinda Gunarathna, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister, and Ms. Shobini K. Gunasekara, Director General of the Europe and North America Division were attended to the meeting.
