Hindus all over the world celebrate Deepawali lighting oil lamps to symbolise victory of righteousness over evil.
Although there are thousands of reasons could be crafted to divide, imperative need today is to unite irrespective of party, colour, religious and racial differences. On this occasion of Deepawali, we all must dedicate ourselves to strive for the common good of the people, which is the essence of this festival.
Let us join hands to the spiritual victory of progressive forces instead of personal achievements on this special day that symbolises “The victory of light over spiritual darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance”.
